Softball Recap: Kalamazoo Christian Comes Up Short

Kalamazoo Christian lost against Coloma back in April of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Kalamazoo Christian fell just short of Coloma by a score of 10-9. Kalamazoo Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Reese Gernaat was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Alexis Earley was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Kalamazoo Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Coloma, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-0-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Kalamazoo Christian beat Coloma by a score of 7-2 later that day.
