Baseball Recap: Whitehall Comes Up Short

Whitehall made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Warrensburg, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Railroaders fell just short of the Burgers by a score of 5-3 on Wednesday. The Railroaders haven't had much luck with the Burgers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Whitehall's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Warrensburg, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Coincidentally, Whitehall and Warrensburg will both be playing North Warren Central the next time they take the field. The Burgers will head out to face the Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Railroaders will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
