Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought match, but Western Tech & Environmental Science had to settle for a 44-42 defeat against Patapsco on Wednesday. Western Tech & Environmental Science has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kenwood pushed their record up to 12-8 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Western Tech & Environmental Science, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
