Basketball Recap: North River Christian Comes Up Short

North River Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 59-30 loss at the hands of the Cornerstone Christian Chargers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against North River Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-47 last Monday.

Cornerstone Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zeke Adams out in front who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 boards. The game was Adams' ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Malachi Adams, who posted 20 points and six rebounds.

North River Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Cornerstone Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.

North River Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cornerstone Christian, they will challenge Heritage Christian Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
