Charlotte Christian is taking a road trip to face off against North Raleigh Christian Academy at 11:00 a.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Charlotte Christian is headed into Saturday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Durham Academy. That's two games in a row now that Charlotte Christian have lost by just one goal.

Caroline Coles and Carsen Record scored both of Charlotte Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Meanwhile, North Raleigh Christian Academy fell victim to Providence Day and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Chargers, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, North Raleigh Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 75th, while Providence Day are ranked first).

North Raleigh Christian Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5-1 record this season. Charlotte Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
