Basketball Recap: Mohonasen Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Troy, Mohonasen was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They escaped with a win against the Thomas Jefferson Campus Orange Wave by the margin of a single free throw, 1-0. The one-point effort marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Mohonasen is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-8 record this season. As for Thomas Jefferson Campus, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-1.

Mohonasen wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against KIPP NYC College Prep on the 19th. As for Thomas Jefferson Campus, they will head out on the road to face off against Tilden at 4:30 p.m. on January 28th.
