Baseball Recap: Millburn Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Millburn, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Payne Tech Lions on Wednesday as they made off with an 8-1 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Millers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Brandon Wong and Greg Rosenthal did most of the damage at the plate: Wong went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run, while Rosenthal went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs Rosenthal has posted since back in May of 2024. Quinn Conn was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Millburn's win bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Payne Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.

Millburn has already played their next match, a 14-10 defeat against Wayne Hills on the 23rd. Payne Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
