Football Recap: Tyler Legacy Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Tyler Legacy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Crowley Eagles 38-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Raiders have posted since September 27, 2024.

Tyler Legacy found their leader in sophomore Bam White, who rushed for 172 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Those 172 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for White. Cason Gray was another key player, rushing for 44 yards and one TD.

Tyler Legacy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 230 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 177 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Despite the defeat, Crowley had strong showings from Kendrick Kennedy Jr, who rushed for 151 yards and three scores on only 15 carries, and Kenyen Cotton, who rushed for 224 yards and one touchdown.

The victory got Tyler Legacy back to even at 2-2. As for Crowley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Tyler Legacy and Crowley will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Raiders are set to face off against their familiar foe Rockwall-Heath at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Crowley will take on rival Weatherford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
