East Iberville and Woodlawn-B.R. are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers duke it out with the Panthers at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.

East Iberville might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-2 to Family Christian, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Flames recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodlawn-B.R.). Everything went their way against Madison Prep Academy on Friday as Woodlawn-B.R. made off with an 11-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with Madison Prep Academy: they've now won six in a row.

Khameron Netherey looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cade Saurage, who scored a run and stole two bases. That run marked the first that he's scored this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Arroyo, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Woodlawn-B.R.'s win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for East Iberville, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-4.

East Iberville beat Woodlawn-B.R. 7-4 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Will East Iberville repeat their success, or does Woodlawn-B.R. have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
