Soccer Recap: Carlisle Takes a Loss

If Carlisle was feeling good fresh off their 8-2 takedown of Hoover last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell just short of the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday.

Carlisle's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-6-4. As for Bondurant-Farrar, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5-5 record this season.

Carlisle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bondurant-Farrar, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Norwalk on the 30th.
