Volleyball Recap: Maranatha Christian Academy's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Meadow Bridge, Maranatha Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Appalachian Christian Academy Eagles. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Maranatha Christian Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-22, 21-25, 25-12, 25-17.

Maranatha Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-8-1. As for Appalachian Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Maranatha Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Pipestem Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Appalachian Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ballard Christian at 6:30 p.m. on the 28th.
