Softball Recap: Mountain View Triumphs

It's playoff time, and Mountain View had no trouble coming through when it counted. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 win over the Coeur d'Alene Vikings on Saturday. That's two games straight that the Mavericks have won by just one run.

The victory made it two in a row for Mountain View and bumps their season record up to 15-8. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Coeur d'Alene, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 18-3.

As of now, neither Mountain View nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
