It was a Battle of the Birds when Phoenix Country Day took on Fountain Hills on Wednesday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on four straight.

Despite the loss, Fountain Hills still got an impressive performance from Lilly Miller, who had 11 digs and two assists. Ainsley McAloon also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Phoenix Country Day's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Fountain Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-6.

Phoenix Country Day wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against North Valley Christian Academy on the 20th. As for Fountain Hills, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Odyssey Institute on the 23rd.
