Bingham faced Mountain Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Miners came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sentinels, sneaking past 10-8. The win was nothing new for the Miners as they're now sitting on three straight.

Brecka Larson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Larson was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Bingham let Rian Howland and Shyann Banasky run wild. Howland went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles, while Banasky got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and three runs. That's the most doubles Howland has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brooklynn Fogg, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Bingham was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. They are a perfect 11-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Bingham pushed their record up to 17-7-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.5 runs. As for Mountain Ridge, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-3.

Bingham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mountain Ridge, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-7 defeat against Lehi on the 9th.
