Volleyball Recap: Pueblo West Wins Going Away Against Air Academy

Pueblo West won the last time they faced Air Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cyclones blew past the Kadets 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cyclones.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-21.

Rylee Lambert paced Pueblo West's offense, picking up 14 kills. Lambert got some help from Joie Johnson and her 23 assists. Vivi Edson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Pueblo West's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Air Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Pueblo West will take on Highlands Ranch at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Air Academy, they will welcome Pueblo East at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
