Softball Recap: Purdue Polytechnic Comes Up Short

Purdue Polytechnic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-3 to Irvington Preparatory Academy. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Techies of the 15-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Purdue Polytechnic's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Irvington Preparatory Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-8 record this season.

Purdue Polytechnic will be playing in front of their home fans against Indianapolis Arsenal Technical at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Irvington Preparatory Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Morristown at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
