Langford posted their closest win since September 6th on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Waubay/Summit Mustangs 3-2. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Langford was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (104-99), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-21, 16-25, 25-22, 15-11.

Langford's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Waubay/Summit, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Coming up, Langford will take on Wilmot at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Waubay/Summit, they will square off against Britton-Hecla at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
