Baseball Recap: Hopewell Takes a Loss

Hopewell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 4-1 to the Beaver Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Monday.

Hopewell saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Triscila, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. That hit was Triscila's first of the season.

Hopewell's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Beaver, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Hopewell will look to defend their home field on Friday against Chartiers Valley at 4:00 p.m. As for Beaver, they will welcome Indiana at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
