Cordova extended their home winning streak to 12 games  dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from  Noah Pearson. The Cordova Wolverines strolled past the Effie Kokrine Charter Warriors with  points to spare on Friday, taking the game  54-40 which was due in part to  Pearson, who  posted 20  points along with six  rebounds and five  assists. He has been hot, having also posted two or more  steals the last seven times he's  played.
 When it comes to explaining why Effie Kokrine Charter lost, don't look at  Jonas Carroll. Despite the final result, he  scored 16 points.  Esai Joseph was another key player,  putting up eight  points.
Cordova has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record  this season.  Coming up, Cordova will take on Susitna Valley at 3:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Susitna Valley will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  win, something Cordova surely won't give up without a fight.
