Baseball Recap: Peetz Comes Up Short

Peetz started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Akron. They came up short against the Rams on Tuesday, falling 11-1. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Peetz saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rhyder Bayne, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Peetz dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Akron, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.
