Basketball Recap: John Glenn Takes a Loss

John Glenn was the 75-39 winner over Morgan when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The John Glenn Little Muskies fell 51-42 to the Morgan Raiders on Thursday.

Morgan got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Myka Augenstein out in front who went 6-for-12 on her way to 15 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Augenstein a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gianna Myers, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 16 points.

John Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Morgan, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-10.

John Glenn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Morgan, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 45-40 defeat against New Lexington on the 15th.
