Volleyball Recap: Beddingfield Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Beddingfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Goldsboro Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bruins of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Beddingfield was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12, 25-23.

Goldsboro found their leader in sophomore Callaway Sauls, who had four digs and four aces.

Beddingfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Goldsboro, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Beddingfield will challenge Northwest Halifax at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Goldsboro, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against James Kenan on the 2nd.
