Baseball Recap: Francis Scott Key Comes Up Short

Francis Scott Key was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Liberty Lions. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lions this season, with their most recent defeat being a 9-0 loss on Wednesday.

Francis Scott Key's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Liberty, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.
