Soccer Recap: Slinger Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Slinger's match on Tuesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They never let the Grafton Black Hawks get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Given Slinger's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 74th, while Grafton are ranked 215th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jinu Lee and Cole Gindt scored all three of Slinger's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.
