Baseball Recap: San Augustine Comes Up Short

San Augustine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Chireno Owls, falling 13-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-4 back in March.

San Augustine's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Chireno, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. San Augustine is set to face off against their familiar foe Joaquin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chireno will take on rival Woden at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
