Volleyball Recap: Lakeland Preparatory Takes a Loss

Lakeland Preparatory lost against Collierville back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Dragons. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-17, 25-10.

Lakeland Preparatory's offense was headlined by Olivia Reyes and Tess Terpstra, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Emma Morgan and her 11 assists. Reyes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Lakeland Preparatory's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Collierville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9-1 record this season.

Lakeland Preparatory will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Bolivar Central at 6:00 p.m. As for Collierville, they will head out on the road to face off against Arlington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
