San Diego has enjoyed a 11-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the La Jolla Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. San Diego will be strutting in after a win while La Jolla will be coming in after a loss.
While San Diego has not struggled against Mission Bay recently, they managed to flip the script on Tuesday. San Diego narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Mission Bay 10-8.
San Diego let Hanna Patterson and Giselle Peregrina loose on the outfield. Patterson went 3-for-4 with a home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Peregrina went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and a double.
