Baseball Recap: Galway Comes Up Short

Galway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Hadley Luzerne Eagles, falling 13-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Eagles of the 5-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Galway's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hadley Luzerne, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Looking ahead, Galway will challenge Schoharie at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Golden Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Hadley Luzerne, they will square off against Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
