Volleyball Recap: Tuscola Comes Up Short

Tuscola managed to slip by Erwin the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Mountaineers came up short against the Warriors on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Mountaineers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While Tuscola was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Erwin's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-14, 25-22.

Tuscola dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tuscola will host Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Erwin, they will square off against Mitchell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
