Volleyball Recap: Inter-Lakes Wins Going Away Against Nute

Inter-Lakes won the last time they faced Nute and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Lakers blew past the Rams 3-0.

Inter-Lakes' got stronger as the match went on, holding Nute to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12, 25-7.

Kiera Moynihan paced Inter-Lakes' offense, picking up 18 kills. Moynihan got some help from Emily Doda and her 32 assists. Moynihan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Inter-Lakes' win bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Nute, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Inter-Lakes is set to square off against their familiar foe Portsmouth Christian Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Nute will take on rival Raymond at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
