Softball Recap: Bellaire Comes Up Short

Bellaire lost against Union Local on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Big Reds came up short against the Jets, falling 13-7. The Big Reds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Addison Kovach made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and three runs. Another player making a difference was Alyson Vingia, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Bellaire's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Union Local, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bellaire will square off against River at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Union Local, they will take on Buckeye Local at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
