Baseball Recap: Webster County Comes Up Short on the Road Against Lyon County

Webster County had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 18-3 to the Lyon County Lyons. The Trojans have struggled against the Lyons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Webster County got a good showing from Cooper Logan, who struck out six batters over two innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits.

Webster County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hopkins County Central at 5:30 p.m. on March 21st. As for Lyon County, they will welcome Madisonville-North Hopkins at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
