Volleyball Recap: Union Takes a Loss

After flying high against Wood River on Saturday, Union came back down to earth. The Cougars came up short against the Weber Warriors on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 25-17.

Rowen Weaver paced Union's offense, picking up 13 kills. Weaver got some help from Sariah White and her 14 assists.

Weber's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tesyn Stewart, who had seven digs and three aces.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Weber, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Union wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Carbon on the 11th. As for Weber, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Farmington on the 11th.
