Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Knox). They were the clear victors by a 16-4 margin over the Shoals Jug Rox on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Spartans considering their one-run performance the contest before.

The victory snapped South Knox's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-12 record. As for Shoals, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Looking ahead, South Knox will head out to challenge Vincennes Rivet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Shoals, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Evansville Christian at 5:00 p.m.
