Volleyball Recap: Cobden Takes a Loss

Cobden lost against Vienna back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Appleknockers fell 2-0 to the Eagles.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12.

Alivia Kilpatrick paced Cobden's offense, picking up three kills. Kilpatrick got some help from Amelia Long and her four assists.

Cobden's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Vienna, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Cobden will be playing at home against Cairo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Vienna, they will square off against Zeigler-Royalton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
