Football Recap: Wisdom Takes a Loss

Wisdom fell victim to Heights and their airtight defense on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs. If the Generals were looking for revenge after losing 47-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Heights' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kobe Miles, who threw for 178 yards and two TDs on only 16 passes, and also punched in one rushing score. Another back making a difference was Phelan Powell, who gained 51 total yards and two touchdowns.

Wisdom now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Heights, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Wisdom will venture away from home to face off against Lamar at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Heights, they will welcome Cesar E. Chavez at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs are facing the Lobos at the right time seeing as the Lobos are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
