Marissa/Coulterville entered their tilt with Lebanon on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Greyhounds a 10-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-1 on Tuesday.

Landen Perry was excellent, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Carter Daugherty, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Marissa/Coulterville pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Lebanon, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marissa/Coulterville will take on Trico at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Lebanon, they will face off against Christ Our Rock Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Silver Stallions' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Greyhounds' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
