Mount Anthony has gone a perfect 7-0 against Fair Haven recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Patriots will take on the Slaters at 4:30 p.m. Mount Anthony will be strutting in after a win while Fair Haven will be coming in after a loss.

Mount Anthony barely beat Otter Valley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Patriots blew past the Otters 14-2 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Meanwhile, Fair Haven fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Bellows Falls on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They came up short against the Terriers, falling 19-13. The Slaters have struggled against the Terriers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Olivia Paige made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Amelia Munger, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Fair Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. Mount Anthony has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record.

Mount Anthony took their victory against Fair Haven in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 16-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
