Volleyball Recap: Selma Takes a Loss

Selma lost to Immanuel on April 14th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bears fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Selma sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 22-25, 25-11, 24-26, 15-9.

Selma's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Immanuel, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-10 record this season.

Selma and Immanuel are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Bears are taking a road trip to take on Roosevelt at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Immanuel, they will challenge Wonderful College Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
