Jeremiah Short put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Thursday. He struck out nine batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Clayton is 2-1 when Short allows one or fewer earned runs, but 9-11 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Short and Clayton will venture away from home to take on Kinta at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Sadly, Short's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Bulldogs' four-game streak of wins on the road.
