Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lincolnwood). They put the hurt on the Riverton Hawks with a sharp 21-9 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won three matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Lincolnwood now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Riverton, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Lincolnwood has already played their next game, an 11-2 loss against Pana on the 31st. As for Riverton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 19-5 defeat against St. Teresa on the 3rd.
