Softball Recap: South San Francisco Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

South San Francisco and King City squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but South San Francisco had to settle for second. They lost 11-4 to the Mustangs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered since April 26, 2024.

South San Francisco saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sydney Semans, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

South San Francisco moved to 16-9 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak. As for King City, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-11.
