The Westerly Bulldogs will stay at home for another game and welcome the Scituate Spartans at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Westerly's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Westerly is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: North Providence, who was ranked 20th in their home state at the time (Westerly was ranked 15th). Westerly and North Providence finished up their game with a 1-1 draw on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs as the squad haven't won a game since September 26th.

Scituate, on the other hand, haven't lost since September 18th and they too continued that trend. They blew past St. Mary Academy-Bay View 5-2 on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Katelyn Chatelle as she scored three goals for her team.

Arianna Fotopoulos, who's played more minutes than anyone else on the Scituate squad sat out for Tuesday's matchup. With Fotopoulos sidelined, Sophia Francazio got her first action of the season.

With that draw, Westerly's record moves to 8-8-3. As for Scituate, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3-4.
