Soccer Preview: Westerly vs. Scituate
The Westerly Bulldogs will stay at home for another game and welcome the Scituate Spartans at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Westerly's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Westerly is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: North Providence, who was ranked 20th in their home state at the time (Westerly was ranked 15th). With that draw, Westerly's record moves to 8-8-3. As for Scituate, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3-4.
