Recap: Carl Albert Titans vs. El Reno Indians
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Carl Albert Titans walked away with it. They breezed by El Reno at home to the tune of 49-21. Carl Albert's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Carl Albert's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Xavier Robinson led the charge by rushing for 144 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. Robinson was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 63 yards. Another player making a difference was Kevin Sperry, who threw for 242 yards and three touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes.
Carl Albert has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 11-0 record. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35.5 points. As for El Reno, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
Carl Albert will square off against Collinsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Collinsville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while Carl Albert is ranked fourth). El Reno does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
