Basketball Recap: Albany Takes a Loss

Albany lost against Stamford back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Albany Lions were dealt a 63-26 defeat at the hands of the Stamford Bulldogs. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-10.

Albany has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Stamford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-12.

Albany and Aspermont will round out the year against one another at at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Stamford, they will take on Eula at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Eula will roll in looking for their 20th straight victory, something Stamford surely won't give up without a fight.
