Indianapolis Lutheran proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Lafayette Central Catholic Knights 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Saints have posted against the Knights since September 23, 2017.

Faith King paced Indianapolis Lutheran's offense, picking up 16 kills. King got some help from Shaefer Scearce and her 29 assists. King also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ema Amberger, racking up three apiece.

Indianapolis Lutheran pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Lafayette Central Catholic, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-3.
