Basketball Recap: Jackson Central Merry Takes a Loss

Jackson Central Merry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 60-43 bruising from the Adamsville Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-40 last Friday.

Jackson Central Merry's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Adamsville, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-9.

Jackson Central Merry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Adamsville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cardinals take on the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Riverside knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Adamsville likes a good challenge.
