Soccer Recap: Cane Ridge Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Cane Ridge and McGavock, and McGavock kept the tradition alive. The Ravens fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Cane Ridge were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as McGavock apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Cane Ridge's goal came courtesy of Johnny Molina, who's now up to seven this season.

Cane Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 6-4-1. As for McGavock, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Cane Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Overton on the 22nd. As for McGavock, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-2 win against Knowledge Academies on the 17th.
