Baseball Recap: Waukomis Comes Up Short

Waukomis has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.95 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They came up short against the Frontier Mustangs, falling 12-6. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waukomis' defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Frontier, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-10 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waukomis will head out to face off against Pioneer-Pleasant Vale at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Frontier, they will venture away from home to challenge Glencoe at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
