Softball Recap: Easley Find Success

Easley owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Northwestern Trojans 1-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Green Wave have posted since April 8th.

Not much got past Jalyn McGee, who gave up just three hits and racked up 17 Ks to keep Northwestern off the board. Those 17 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for McGee.

Easley's victory bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Northwestern, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.

As of now, neither Easley nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
